JORDYN HAGAR, LICSW
Hello! I am Jordyn Hagar. I am a clinical social worker licensed in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, with almost 15 years of social work experience. I have worked in a variety of settings doing individual, group, and family therapy with children, adolescents, and families. I have treated a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, trauma, behavior disorders, attention disorders, and environmental, social, and family based disruptions as well. I currently teach at Providence College in the Social Work Department, and I am available to teach, provide clinical supervision, consult on agency projects, and conduct continuing education workshops.
I currently offer several training workshops to educators, mental health professionals, community groups and organizations, PTO's and parent groups, and any other interested parties. I adjust each of my workshops for each specific audience so everyone can ensure that their professional and personal learning needs are met to the best of my ability.
Another area of personal and professional interest involves the medical world, particularly the world of a medical professional's relationships and family. Pulling from personal first hand lived experience as well as my professional background in mental health, I have written on the topic for a variety of sources.
